Gym Access Setup Guide (Shelly App)
Step 1: Download the App on your phone:

👉 Shelly Smart Control Android
Step 2: Create Your Account
-Sign up using the same email you used for your gym membership
⚠️ Important:
If you use a different email, you won’t get access.
👉 Let us know if your email has changed.
Step 3: Enter Verification Code

- Check your email inbox
-
- Enter this code into the app to activate your account
Step 4: Let Us Know
Once your account is set up, message us so we can grant you access.
Step 5: Access the Gym
After we’ve added you:
1. Open the app and go to home
2. Go to “All Devices”
3. Make Sure the app is refreshed
4. Tap the Gym access tab
5. Press the “ON” button
6. Door will open for 3 seconds
If the gym doesn’t show up in your app:

- Make sure you used the correct email and have verified it
It says “something went wrong”

-try again
-
-Refresh your app or log out and back into the app
-
-make sure you have location enabled for the Shelly app (go to location in your settings, then go to Shelly and allow location while using the app), then refresh the app
-
-your refresh button should be a solid white
🔐 Gym Access Troubleshooting Guide
Having trouble opening the door? Try these quick fixes before contacting us.
🔑 STEP 1 — Log out & log back in (IMPORTANT)

Log out of the app

Close it completely (don’t leave it running in the background)

Reopen the app and log back in
👉 If the app has been idle or in the background, it may not work properly even if it opens
✅ STEP 2 — Check your internet connection

Make sure you have mobile data or Wi-Fi turned ON

If you're on Wi-Fi and it’s not working:
-
Turn Wi-Fi OFF and try using mobile data
-

🔄 STEP 3 — Reset the app connection
-
Close the app completely
-
Reopen the app
-
Try again
👉 Fixes most “Something went wrong” errors
📶 STEP 4 — Switch your connection
-
Turn Wi-Fi OFF → use mobile data
-
OR turn mobile data OFF → use Wi-Fi
👉 Forces a fresh connection
📍 STEP 5 — Enable Location Services
Some phones require location access for proper connection.

Turn Location ON
-
Make sure the app has permission to access location
👉 Especially important for Android devices
🔋 STEP 6 — Turn OFF battery saver
Some phones block the app in the background.

Disable:

Battery Saver / Low Power Mode
-
-
Then reopen the app and try again
🌐 STEP 7 — Turn OFF VPN / Private DNS
If you use:
-
VPN apps
-
Ad blockers
-
Private DNS
👉 Turn them OFF temporarily and try again
🔁 STEP 8 — Try again (don’t spam the button)

Tap once and wait a few seconds
-
Repeated tapping can cause errors
🌍 STEP 9 — Try browser access (backup method)
If the app isn’t working:

Open your internet browser (Chrome/Safari)
-
Use your saved gym access link
-
Try opening the door from there
🚨 STILL NOT WORKING?
Please contact us if:

The door still won’t open

Your name

⚠️ IMPORTANT
Most access issues are caused by:

App running in the background

Poor internet connection
-
Phone settings blocking the app
