What are superfoods?

Superfoods are a category of foods that are exceptionally rich in nutrients, surpassing 99% of other foods in nutrient concentration. They are also known for their high ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) levels, which help combat cancer, cardiovascular diseases and chronic conditions affecting organs and tissues. Examples of superfoods include ginger, acai berries, blackberries, blueberries and pecans.
